Kondis eller hemmabak

Föredrar vanligtvis hemmabak men det är ju inte alltid man får till det. Tur då att kondiset ligger på lagom promenadavstånd härifrån. Dottern har ett favoritgosedjur, Paddan från Paddeborg (från Det susar i Säven). Så då fick det bli tematårta till födelsedagen, busenkel att göra själv. Köpelock som jag skurit hål i för ögonen och munnen, russin som pupiller och röd marsipan till tungan. Annars är de ju rysligt söta de små grodbakelserna på kondiset, hemma går de dock under benämningen paddbakelser.

Home made or bought pastrys
Usually I prefer home made, but it does not always fit into the schedule. Luckily we have a great bakery on walking distance from home. My daughter have favourite toy, Mr Toad from the Wind in the Willows, so the theme cake for her 2nd birthday was Mr Toad himself. Easy to make yourself by cutting holes in the marcipan for the eyes and the mouth. Raisins for eyes and red marcipan for the tounge. But the frog pastries from the bakery are super cute, at home we call them toad pastries though.
